Virginia Living Museum Dedication     June 21, 2009  +/-

Watershed has its second public project dedication! Appropriately scheduled for the solstice weekend, the Virginia Living Museum held a ceremonial dedication of its Living Green in the Watershed exhibit on Friday, June 19th and welcomed the public the following day. Numerous long-time donors and elected officials were on hand to celebrate the long-awaited opening of a permanent exhibit that, according to Deputy Executive Director Fred Farris, is the only one of its kind in the U.S.!

Wintergreen Founders’ Memorial Dedication     May 10, 2009  +/-

Watershed Architects has its first official project dedication! The Wintergreen Nature Foundation celebrated the completion of their Founders’ Memorial at Wintergreen Overlook. Members of the original team of visionaries looked on as former U.S. Congressman and Wintergreen developer L.F. Payne cut the ribbon to officially open the structure to the public.
