Garden House

Simple living and high-performing, passive modular design underlie the character of this modern home. Its siting, form and scale respect the suburban streetscape while its spatial arrangement balances connections to the outdoors with solar geometry; the program of the home is bifurcated to create a central garden space to enhance the biophilic aspect and to optimize natural ventilation and lighting. A “healthy home” by design, this project is slated to achieve a platinum rating under the LEED-H program.
