Poquoson Two Sisters’ Houses

Located on the south bank of the Poquoson River, these homes will allow two sisters to live as neighbors on a long-standing family estate. The architecture is understated and respectful of a sensitive site within the Chesapeake Bay Protection Area. Though they differ dramatically in scale, each home incorporates a high degree of healthful, low-energy and resource efficient building strategies. Both projects are currently slated for LEED-H Silver and Gold certification respectively.
